This kit is designed to allow the addition of a fuel pressure sensor to the factory rail very easily. The heart of the kit is a bullet tee fitting with a male 4AN branch and run that are both internally threaded to accept a Schrader valve, just like the stock test port on the fuel rail. The other run is threaded to screw directly to a GM fuel pressure sensor (fluorosilicone o-ring included). Included with the kit is a crimped PTFE 4AN hose with one straight and one 90° end which allows you to choose the best orientation for attaching to your rail (and you can choose which port to use on the tee fitting). After removing the factory Schrader valve core, you will connect the hose to the rail, the tee to the hose, and then reinsert the Schrader valve core into the unused 4AN connection on the tee which leaves you with a bleed/test port after having a sensor hooked up! This will work on any vehicle that has a 4AN test port on the fuel rail.
A 8' long pigtail is also included in this kit to allow you to connect 5V (red), signal (blue), and ground (brown).
Custom options for the wiring are available so you can use this to relocate your pressure reading to the rail itself instead of near the back of the car. If purchased with the nGauge from DSX Tuning, we can build the end of the harness out to plug into the nGauge and pre-program it for the sensor. A 10uF capacitor is recommended when using with the nGauge (included if bought as a combo).
